COMING IN 2009:
LIOR on a screen near YOU
In Jan and Feb, catch the movie in Tucson, Roslyn, Rockville, Vegas, Tulsa, Jackson, Virginia Beach, Austin, Savannah, Briarcliff Manor, Sacramento, Ft. Lauderdale, Louisville, Auckland and Minnetonka.
We're especially excited for the Feb 2009 Special Olympics Winter Games, in Boise Idaho.
We still need funds for a comprehensive study guide. Managed by Peg Kolm of the DC Archdiocese's Office for the Ministry of Persons with Special Needs, there will be sections by Christian, Jewish, and Muslim clergy. It'll be free through the website.
We've been collecting lots of stories of special Bnai Mitzvah, and we found the ideal partner, Howard Blas, to co-write.
The home video comes out on March 24th... and we'll take pre-orders soon.
We hope you'll take great pride in enabling this wonderful journey. It's been an unbelievable year, and next year promises so much already. Thank you for "being at" Lior's Bar Mitzvah, and supporting other people with special needs, in all communities.
We've been told, "everyone should see this movie" -- we hope they will. You can book a screening by contacting us...
And if you can, please consider giving as generously as possible.
Dear friends of LIOR: THANK YOU - for telling friends and opening hearts to the message of Praying with Lior. Look what you made possible!

And there's lots more to do.

We added new bonus features such as pieces about inclusion across faith communities, advice for siblings of a special needs child, captions, audio description, optional Spanish subtitles, and follow-up interviews with the family 4 years later. Ask your organization to order.
Our fall screenings in Israel were fantastic! We were on the Israeli news, packed theaters in Haifa, Jerusalem, Ra'anana and Tel Aviv, and were able to spotlight wonderful Israeli programs for people with disabilities.
PWL on Film
With your help, we made it to film! The beautiful 35mm print enables us to present in more international venues, including theaters in South Africa (stay tuned).
